Hello,
I have torque on my Galaxy s2 phone and 7.0 plus wifi tab, just received the Kiwi bluetooth adapter today. I am having an issue connecting to the ECU, the dongle is paired and found with no issues. However I’m getting the “cannot connect to ECU” error and nothing will work.

I was told the program worked with no issues on an evolution 5, so I would think an ODB2 issue is not the problem here. Neither my phone or tab will connect so I’ve ruled out an error on one of the devices. I’ve tried setting it to different scanning protocols with no luck, also different order of powering on the tab, car and dongle.

Any suggestions? Does anyone else use the app on this particular model? Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried contacting the Torque app developer? They are pretty good at responding. They also have a trouble shoot link in the app which I am sure you have read through.

 

I'm in touch with PLX trying to figure out which Mitsubishi used for the port. I'll update when and if I get a definitive answer.
