Post Idle Issue

Had my Evo tuned while back, even though i should of addressed this issue before, i did not. now we are due for the inspection, and my remarkable check engine light will fail it the problem is in idle control: car often idles too high triggering the code... went to tuner several time and raised the idler high to avoid the issue, but it keeps coming back, due to random idling range, (1000 to 2000rpms). throttle body is Buschur ported, i was told throttle body sensor might be bad or malfunctioning, so before i will tear it down any ideas or suggestion?? did anyone had this type of problem? if yes how did you got it fixed??

Any help is appreciated and thank you ahead of time.

I have same issue. Mitsubishi says its the IACV. Which is somewhere near 300 new. They recommended cleaning it out with carb cleaner but try not to spray it directly in the sensor. Good Luck
