For the harsh winters, get a battery blanket. I'm sure you can find a specific one for whatever battery you choose. It also helps to put the mini batteries on a battery charger/tender every once in a while.

I don't have anything to compare with but I have had no issues with the AMS small battery.

If this one does what they say, it would be by far the best battery.

Really cheap and decent CA... if it performs well it would most definently be the best bang for the buck... testers needed LMAO... Although I wouldnt try it unless lots of people had good feedback.. Last thing I would need is to go start my car in the morning to go to work to find the battery crapped out

I have had my AMS small battery kit for 5 years now! Never had an issue and when the car sits over winter it is on a trickle charger! Battery maintains 12.78 Volts its a great setup!

Who makes the AMS battery. Can you buy it from another source?

Just FYI, there are actually only a handful of real 'battery' suppliers..... then they just all get rebadged as someone elses battery.

Deka ETX 20L is what I have been using since March 2011 .

My Evo is my daily driver and I have had zero issues even through Chicago Winter. Also I do not have a battery tender.

Do yourself a favor and get the odyssey pc680. Extremely good battery, +5 years now and counting without any issues.
