i bought a kit with a mini included the mini was dead but was purchased in 2006 from the serial number. so i assume it lasted a good bit. i got it all cheap so i bought it pretty much for the bracket haha.

I am using a lawn mower type battery. It works but over winter needs to be on the charger. Car has sat for a couple+ weeks at a time and still started right up although not recommended to sit with just the radio on for a long period of time.

It's pretty damn light and gets the job done for cheap.

I'm about 5 years on my Odyssey small battery. Same as the AMS one and no issue so far. Just make sure you disconnect the battery when leaving it sit for more then 4-5 days. In the cold, I never had issues unless I was using AEM EMS

What model number of Braille would work with the AMS small battery tray? Just bought a tray recently with no battery.

Thanks

Eric

Pic a weight and cca that works best for you
I went 15 pound due to extreme cold weather but If I was to do it again I probably would have gone with their 11 pound battery

I didnt engeneer the ams battery tray and have no idea on its specs but I believe the 11 pound braille battery is pretty much the same size of the oddyssey mini battery Dont quote me, better off looking into it yourself to be safe

Mr. Pounder. You should have done a poll w/ a vote. Post Fail

On my 2nd Odyssey PC680. Survived many a serious winter here in the South (So.Cal)

EDIT. BTW, Buy it from Amazon for like $116.00 vs $145ish

the genesis battery that AMS sells is out dated technology(late 90s). its what became the current odyssey.

Its no where near the same caliber of battery.

Why not go with a Civic or miata battery? They are weight savings but made to withstand all seasons
