All ACD lights on.... Need a new pump?

I only had acd bled and oil changed a few months back, however recently all 3 lights come on shortly after driving and stay on, does mean a definite new pump or could it be something else not as serious?, i wont be able to make it to the mechanic for a week or two..

Mine also came one the other day.

I plan on getting a rebuild kit from ACD tuning.

You most likely need a pump rebuild. If the lights came on directly after the oil change then I'd say it's related to that, but since it's been a while, then probably not.

Scan it first. Mine came up with a code 82, which meant there was a problem with the pump. I tried bleeding, but ended up taking it to the dealership to replace the pump under warranty.

I messed with the acd pump and got it working then it started leaking through an o-ring cause the damn thing was corroded to ****. I was over it, im currently in the process of getting a non acd t-case built and just gonna pull all the lines and garbage off. Less weight and acd is junk for what im gonna use the car for anyway lol.

The ACD defaults to an open diff at pump failure.

When my pump was bad and the system was completely pressure less it would be about 50/50 sometimes I would mat it and it would squat and go and sometimes it would blow the front tires like I was in a complete FWD car...... annoying to say the least.

My ACD pump is shot also and I just blew my tires off yesterday and was like WTF that never happened in 2nd gear before. It must be from the open diff?? It left marks out the back of the car I could see in the rearview.

There are several things to check first before jumping to a new pump. I also had an acd fault, with a little time and effort plus alot of reading I fixed it. First thing is first to the op and everyone else, does the pump opperate? Key on, car off, push gas pedal to the floor and hold for 5 or so seconds. Pump should turn on.

K the acd works off steering angle if im not mistaken, I noticed with the wheels turned the pump wouldnt prime. Make sure the wheel is straight. After you tried that procedure did the lights come on, if and when they did could you hear a relay click?

All the lights are on on my dash as well, when i turn the key forward and push the gas pedal in I hear a whining pump noise, so that means my pump is ok?

Not exactly. That just rules out a power issue to the pump, which was the road I was heading down for the other member who posted his pump is not opperating. In your case the pump works, but that doesnt mean its building pressure. Have you checked your acd code(s)?
