wondering if anyone elses door looks like this. Its strange cause the door is perfectly aligned to the rear door. I checked out the door jam etc..... couldnt find anything.

 

Take it back to the dealer and demand a new door!

 

Yeah right, the stealership will void your "door" warranty because they spied on you and saw you gun it on the freeway =P

 

Is it the gap between the 2 panels you are worried about? Or is it the dark open space behind the gap that is troubling you?

Its the gap and the fact the door suddenly became recessed. Meaning if u run ur finger down that body line it drops off like half an inch to the door. THe passenger side sits flush with the quarter panel.

hinges are tight. YUp pink it is. Every picture i have taken at night, up close makes the car look pink. Every Red EVo will always look pink when taken up close with a flash.

 

Can you see behind the hinges and see any scrap marks from where it was previously set? That is just weird.....

are you sure that it is the door and not the fender that came loose? try looking at the fender bolts too. just a thought. night have to pull the fender liner out to get to the inside bolts, not sure on that though. haven't "scrapped the caddy," yet. if you know what i mean!

there could be a problem with the "check strap" the part in the door that keeps it from opening fully

 

If the door closes normally, and the door rear edge is still flush with the b pillar, I would seriously suspect the front 1/4 panel.

Take a look at the shut line between the hood and the top edge of the front 1/4 panel. Is it uniform in size? Is the gap less or more than the shut line on the passenger side?
