AMS Intercooler & Cusco Front Power Brace

Does anyone know if the AMS Intercooler will fit behind my front bumper, while I have the Cusco Front Power Brace on my car? The brace replaced the crash bar when I installed it. I saw that ETS makes an Intercooler specifically designed for the brace:

http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...cat=161&page=1

I'm wondering that since the dimensions for the AMS Intercooler make it a bit taller, will it still fit?... Is anyone running this setup or know just based on dimensions if this AMS one will fit with the brace I have installed? Here is the link to the AMS page so the dimensions are on there. Thanks for all the help in advance!!!!!!

I personally think that the newer AMS I/C is bigger than the old one.I have the old version AMS I/C and it fit with cusco front brace.I used to have it but when i bought my JDM headlights,i removed the cusco front brace and reinstall the front crash beam just because for the safety issue and insurance claim if i ever get involve in front crash collision.

You are right!!! The newer ams ic will not fit with the cusco brace.. I had to put 4 washers to space out the cusco bar away from the ic and had to remove and re-weld the top mount closer to dip the ic away from the cusco bar and its still tight... maybe a **** hair will fit... definently not designed to work together

I will still need to dip the ic in more as the brace is still to close to the ic for my liking... under hard corners the braces impacts the ic even after all the retrofitting

Sucker. Go big or go home.

I'm surprised the newer one doesn't fit with the power brace when the stock crash beam fits over no problem.

!! Thanks for the support. We have sold several Cusco units to some very happy customers. I have customers who have also used my standard intercooler kit with spacers on the bumper beam and it fit as well.

Thanks!
