I think it's gay if the intention of a regular Lancer owner trying to make their Lancer like an EVO. IMO, it is a wannabe EVO. And when that gay *** owner gets their *** handed to them by a ricer civic, the ricer civic will just think they smoked an EVO. When in fact, it is just a Lancer that wants to look like an EVO. And do not tell me that there are not Lancer owners out there that wants to make there car to look like an EVO. We all know that there are and that is the truth. However, I think it is cool that other Lancer owners are just making their Lancers look nice and their intentions are not making it look like an EVO but instead just being unique while still keeping the Lancer look. Anyways, that is just "my opinion" and no one elses.
It blows me away that people on a lancer forum would diss on people being creative and expressive with modding their lancers. Who gives a **** if its modding it to look like an Evo! That pretty much states that only people with the money for an Evo should be able to enjoy its looks and performance. Its a little insulting honestly, (which I guess is the point), and totally the wrong energy for a forum like this.

The Lancer was actually made to look like the Evo... Meh. (go figure, right?)
My car is all stock and I still get guys turnign their heads in WRX's and stuff.
You live with it. The fact you know there is better stuff under your hood naturally should give you the better advantage. The Lancer is still a long ways off from an Evo...

ok time to drop my 2 pennies.....i think if u are goin to mod a lancer u should do something different and not try to copy the evo's looks....i have fixed up my oz and it looks nothin like a evo...and i could care less about being fast or i would of started off with a more powerful car....(even tho there are some fast regular lancers)...i say it is your car so what ever u want but sont get mad when some one gives there opinion....the goal to moddin cars is to do something different and be original....not just look like something else.....thats how i feel at least u can fix up a regular lancer and not look like a evo... i think so my rant is over every one chill out and have a good day

THat MIVIC engine in the RA is no joke guys. 9.5:1 compression ratio is pretty good for a turbo. Not too low, but not too high either. Don't know how reliable it will be, but it looks promising from what I read in that thread. But too bad the RA is just really freakin ugly. Good luck to all RA owners. We'll see if our little brothers will be able to hang with the big brothers. Peace...
