Blah Blah Blah...
I started modifing cars with Civics.
When I was running around in a 95 Stock Civic, I convinced my friend to purchase an 00 Si. We started planing right away. No exterior modifications...all performance. 286Whp at 8500Rpm's on a stock engine. Boom! Before I could waste any money modifing my Civic I came to a realization. My civic was a poor platform to start with. Alluminum block - good econobox - bad performance. So rather than pummeling money into that, I put it towards my 500mo payment in my Evo. I have only had enough money to purchase a intake, exhaust and reflash...but I could have spent 10K on my Civic and had nothing comparable. The Evolution is the total package. Although I understand the sport compact show car scene...where a civic is a cool looking car. I love seeing the trick doors and huge wheels, etc; but I chose to race my car rather than show it.

First car to last
88 Prelude 88K (stock)
99 Cavalier New (stock)
95 Civic 103K (Gave up)
03 Evolution New (good platform)

i agree the evo...need nothin done to the exterior....beautiful car..if i had one 18's wheels would b the only thing i would do....all performance....but my oz on the other hand i didnt like the way they look stock ....so i spruced her up a bit....but why put money into that engine ? i just see it as a smart investment puttin a 4 to 5 grand turbo on it you only got a little over 200 whp...just not a smart investment to me

Fake Cars

Who cares if some guy thinks he beat an Evo when it was actually a riced up Lancer? That just means he will have a big head going into his next race when his lunch gets eaten by the real deal.

Let the great unwashed be happy with their ignorance. I can spot a fake Cobra, M3, Evo, Type-R or whatever else is out there. You probably can too. Yesterday I saw an S4 with an RS4 badge on the trunk. Just like the Evo, it's pretty hard to pass as an RS4 without the fender flares. I had better things to do than to tell the guy that I know he's a posseur.

aight, c'min from an evo7 owner, and a kit buyer of the evo7, IT'S NOT THAT WE'RE TRYING TO MAKE OUR LANCERS AN EVO OR NOTHING, we just like the look enough to buy the kits to fit our needs/wants/etc...

dude, this thread has been done to death, hell... this thought has been done to death... lol

aight, i, much like alot of us kit buyers, aren't looking to make our lancers something else (like your lil civic m3 talk lol)... we just wanna buy the kits... don't hate..

i really can't stand "haters"... when the hell are you ppl gonna realize that we just wanna hook up our cars as we see fit? leave it alone! lol

this thread ends? BRILLIANT!
