So your saying i cant turn my boost down with my mbc and be safe? I was overboosting and turned down the boost, im cofused.

He was saying that you cannot set different boost levels in different gears with just a MBC. Once you set the level with an MBC it will be constant in each gear.

Mine does the same thing - 22 psi in 2nd, 24 psi in 3rd and 4th. I had to back the MBC down quite a bit more than I thought I'd have to to get just 23 psi in 3rd and 4th. Haven't paid attention to what it is now in 2nd. I just chalked it up to increased load in 3rd and 4th making for slightly the slightly higher boost. My boost solenoid is completely unhooked, it's only running an MBC (tried two kinds, a Perrin inline and now a Grimspeed) Both perform exactly the same. Again, just try cranking it down a full turn to see if that gets you any lower boost in higher gears.

One of the reasons I prefer ECU-controlled boost

I have a Forge Motorsports one and it seems to only turn 180 degrees. All the other ones I have had in the past have turned 360 degrees. Is this true for the Forge unit or am I just an idiot that is too afraid of breaking something?

That was one thing that crossed my mind but in 1st and 2nd gear it only hits 20 psi.

Does anyone have the Instruction manuel for the Forge MBC that they could post here and or hook me up with?

it wont necessarily make your boost exactly 25psi depending on how the preload is set. does it look stock? the forge mbc should turn 11 full rotations from - to +, got one in my hand

Okay well then maybe i should try turning it with more force then.

Do you have the one with the little knob on the top?

Could you possibly post a picture of yours so i can compare?
