In Scott's defense I haven't breathed a word of some of the driveability issues I've had. I've spoken to some other owners that went a similar route as me and asked them about their driveability. So I haven't given him a chance to fix anything yet.

My vote is a car that's not on your list, but I'll throw it out there anyway:

BMW E46 M3

Have you see the single turbo swapped 135/335i. I know the 335 come awd and four doors. They are truly capable and full of luxuries

@ True Blue. I'm kinda hockey'd out but I miss home. Toronto is like no other city. And your first statement is how I feel. SOmetimes I love that rawness......other times is a pita. I need ot find a balance for sure.

@ newsotaboy I didn't think about it but i know the newest iteration CTS-V is a beast. Not sure if the previous generation is worth purchasing and I think the current generation is a tad outside what I'm willing to spend atm.

I'm worried about maintenance. I know some BMW owners and it seems like hit or miss reliability wise. Main thing is if something does go wrong, its normally pricey to fix.

I like the 1 series but I'm 6' 4" and my son is almost 5' 10" (and he is only 13) so space is a concern there (not like all my choices have ample amount of space). I really do like the 335i's and the 4 door M3 but like I said cost of possible repairs makes me a little gun shy.

Love the car. Love the SMG even though some have had issues. 2 doors and no sedan option kills it for me.

What did the people say that you spoke to who also wen the same route?

Trust me, not trying to start anything with or against TTP, just saying from my experience and reading about build after build after build, there are tons of people with similar setups (I followed your build also) that havent had issues.

My opinion is this... When I had issues with my car all I could think about is selling it and start looking in the same direction that you are right now.

Then, when I finally get whatever the issue is straightened out and the car is running like it should I love it to death and couldnt ever think about selling it...

Complete love/hate relationship, so I say get it fixed properly and then make your decision especially since you dumped serious money into it

I'm still amazed that the damn thing is either stationary or even appreciating as time goes on. For that reason alone it might make sense to hold onto the car for another year. You've got a lot of high-end, quality, easy-to-remove and easy-to-sell-quickly parts like your gauge packs and clusters that would help buy some stock-frame turbos while you try and unload your big ticket items like the 6265. No downtime = no loss.

PS I'm originally from your neighbor to the south, Buffalo. Missing hockey now that the Thrashers are in Winnipeg?

Hard to knock that line of thinking. A well-kept, lightly driven EVO may be worth quite a bit someday... Hell look at what happened to Supras for cryin' out loud.

You should consider keeping the TS manifold and downgrading turbos within the same footprint that spools up faster but doesn't put out 800whp. I'm sure its a quick swap and would make it much more fun to drive.

I have a similar sized turbo but really haven't needed to push as much boost to achieve mid 700's whp so it's peace of mind knowing I have more on tap and I am not leaning on the car very hard. My drive-ability has been flawless on the 5bar map sensor and FF turbokit with the same tuner as you. Couldn't be happier.

Smurf, I am not trying to blast you in any way, you know I mean well, however can be a tad blunt....

1. Get rid of all the gauges and stick with boost, AFR and oil pressure.

2. Fix the rats nest of wires that accompany all the guages and gadgets that are strung throughout the cabin.

3. Fix the ECU wires that have been vampired spliced into for various data/gauges/modules.

4. Go back to a stock frame BB turbo (BB RED or BBK BB) so you can enjoy the car on the street, and not have to be at 6000rpm to hit full boost...

No offence taken Freddie.

Yeah there are def. things that could be done "better" on the car. There is always room for improvement.

The power is one half of the equation Anarchy. I guess i was thinking of simplicity. I've never looked into the HTA82/PTE 58XX turbos. I'm sure I can get those to spool close to a FP Black.

@ 06MRV8KILLER The car is running better then it has since I've had it. I just need to give Scott a chance to work out some of the little things that have come up recently. Honestly those things are an annoyance......not the reason I've arrived at this point. I was geeked to have it back. Stoked to drive it for longer then a week without there being some issue. After living with it for a few weeks and trying actually use it as a commuter/Family vehicle the sacrifices I've made along the way have become very apparent. Seems like the most cost effective thing to do is to tame the beast at this point.

I don't want to sell it and regret it. So it makes the most sense to back it off some and live wit h it some more and if I still feel the same way then decide what to do next.

Noise
Comfort
Reliability
Ease to drive
Some more upscale options (LOL @ this comment I know).

Selling the parts I listed (Regardless if I stay big frame or not) will get me there and I can see how I feel.

@golgo13 I never liked them before so I never looked into them but they have grown on me.
