hmmm with $1300 in bolt ons/stock turbo i make almost 380whp on a dj. if i started over and had a $1300 ARC budget, i could buy an arc intercooler, increase turbo lag and put down 280whp hahaha because i wouldnt have the money to even buy an exhaust let alone intake -___-

I'll stick to my american based companies... MAP, AMS, STM, Buschur... which are priced nicely and actually show gains.... only thing I would probably buy if it wasnt $400 would be the ARC radiator shroud...

or maybe they just don't feel like over paying for something that under performs? Most reasonable people go though life with what is called a cost-benefit model.....they look at the cost, they look at the benefit, and decide if it is worth it. If something has a lower cost and higher benefit it is usually the better choice and the choice they make.

Now if you place having mad tyte jdm parts and stickers on your car as a better benefit than having a fast car then perhaps the jdm stuff is for you. But most people I know who mod their evos even have evos because they are very inexpensive to make very fast. Buying super expensive parts that perform as well as the less expensive ones kind of defeats that purpose.

Enjoy your stickers, might want to put them on the side window so the guy in the FAST car can see them as he blows by you :P

I'm going to agree with everyone wanting the american parts at a fair price providing more gains. Yeah the ARC parts look 'nice' but I don't spend alot of time admiring the welds on my intercooler etc anyway. Most jdm performance parts are for people with more money than sense. The cosmetic stuff looks cool, I'm guilty of buying a set of wedsport rims....but they were far better than most other rims in that price range from american companies.

If you like jdm parts that's cool and everything....just not the way I want to mod my car.

If it wasnt powder coated I'd be all about it... ARC is known for their raw titanium finish :/
