CT9A is the chassis code for the Evo 7 and 8. GTA, RS, MR, GSR are all models within the Evo line. We currently get the GSR, and the RS is coming soon.

992gnt is correct. CT9A refers to the chassis code.

For the JDM models, there are basically 2 trim levels. GSR and RS. There's also an RS2, but that's for the export markets such as in Europe. You can find out the differences (quite a number) by using the search feature on the website.

how do you figure that? the RS is a light weight evo with the same power and a LSD diff up front and it is faster than our EVO on the track and off.

the RS is the stripped down version. it has the same engine but doesnt include power windows, rear wiper, HID, A/C, all the sound dampening material to save weight. but it does include a front LSD. it will also cost several thousand less than a normal evo we can buy here.
