It took me about 4 hours to do as some of the hose clamps are impossible to reach. I also drestroyed the OEM intake in the process of removing the old one. (If anyone wants to sell ther's please PM me). I noticed the turbo spools much faster when going through the gears off the line........jumping on it from a roll there is a little wait as the low-end might not be as strong from a roll. All in all I like it and the additional noise will take some getting use to and the BOV is really loud now. Here are some pics:

now that is the news i wanted to hear!!!

 

I put one in last Saturday, replacing my stock MAF pipe and a Bushur air cleaner (which is for sale cheap). With my RMR hard pipe kit, it is really too tight a fit. The air cleaner ends up wedged between the water filler, the battery, the hard pipe and the hood. I trimmed the cardboard on the hood to keep from chewing up the air cleaner. On the positive side this air cleaner is much larger and now the blowoff noises are much louder including some high frequency stuff I hadn't heard before.

yea that AEM sure make that tubo and BOV sound sweet...didn't think that plastci bov was that loud.

 

do you have any stalling or idle problems with the greddy type s?

 

rarely....only when backing up an incline ..... or going from reverse into first too quick.....however I'am going to take the lighter spring out of the actual BOV as that is suppose to stop any stuttering or stalling......

kachur....seems like i did the same install as you las weekend...i installed the aem intake the stype bov...and a profec b all in one day...is your intake like really loud now?...mine sucks like my pom date did...
