Support for 2013 - 2014 Lancer Evolution GSRs

Hi there,
I am ready to pull the trigger on a new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR but I am kind of worried about the support available for the newer 2013 - 2014 models that are currently out.
I plan on modding it slightly - Probably Blow off Valve, Intake, and maybe Wheels and a slight drop on coilovers. I am wondering if all those parts are available for the newer 2014 Lancer Evolution?
I have been on some websites and it seems that all they have is available for the 2008 - 2012 models. Nothing for the later models.

What do you guys think about that?
Thanks

// : Would you guys go with a 2013 or a 2014? Knowing that 2014 might be the last year of the Lancer Evolution, will it hold its value or it's going to be dropping like we've never seen before?

Thanks

Nothing has really changed in the car since 2008

the changes are more internal ( ie timing chain ) , or slight cosmetic changes ( ie interior , and spoiler, etc).

So as far as exhaust , intake , ( BOV which you don't need) , wheels , and coilovers are pretty much the same through out every year.

The only thing that will change is your ROM for your tune
ie such Cobb Access Support or OpenECU available mods such as tephra , or RAX ,etc.

Honestly I haven't seen a drop on the value on the car as much as everyone was complaining about. If this is the last true gas only powered EVO expect it to hold a lot more value , as more people will seek out not only previous gens, but this car also.

13's mod the same as 12's there are almost identical cars. As for the 14's no one knows but I would say with 99 percent confidence that nothing changed.

Since all Xs are roughly the same and people with Xs are blowing money on mods like it grows on trees, the worry that the aftermarket for a '13 or '14 will dry up is unfounded.

I wonder why seller's do that......to put 08-12 for model years for their parts and not include 13 and 14. Maybe the site or product was not updated since 12?

I think you nailed it or they are just not confirmed to fit yet.

Also I think if this is the last year of the EVO the value will stay the same if not go up. People still love these cars and if they can't go buy a new one at the dealer it will put more demand for the used market.

Thanks for your answers guys I'm less worried about it.
For the BOV, it might sound ricey but I've always loved the Woosh sound when shifting ^_^

I suggest reading up on this a little more. Its not a Honda. Its not as simple as slapping on a bov, the car was not designed nor tuned for a vented bov.

You don't need to change to a VTA blow off valve. Simply adding an open filter intake will make the stock BOV more audible and louder.

I'm in ts shoe as well. Does anyone know if 2014 responds to mods better or worser or same as 09 Evo gsr? I can't get 2013 brand new they only getting 2014 now so I'm kinda iffy if 2014 worth it for new or buy used previous years.

If it fits a 2008, it fits a 2014. They'll all make identical power once modded & tuned (assuming same parts, tuner, etc.).

My car is 100% stock including the bov and it makes a noise when I quickly let off the gas

Is there any way to change the BOV (intake installed) without hurting the car? Im beginning to think im stuck with the stocker sound which isnt bad, but I want my own.
