most power made so far

I read on a local web board that some guy in has the record with the most WHP out of a SR20DET. He is making 582 whp @ 7200 rpm. The discussion has lead people to think the 4G63 has been know to do it, but I can't recall anybody on here making that much power.

Can anyone tell me if it has happened or not? The Nissan guys are wanting proof.

AMS is making around 550whp. also, look for Norris designs EVO 7 which is making around 700-800 IIRC.

I think the DSM in SCC Ultimate street car challenge last year, was putting out more than that. Cant remember exact #'s.

BTW...did you catch the guys name that was putting down that power in the SR20 motor.

I know the Norris designs EVO's are making insane power, but I don't think that is the stock bottom end...or is it?

don't know if you guys seen it in the title of the thread, but I need the most power out of a "stock" bottom end 4G63.

In regards to the stock bottom end, I would tend to think Mike from RRE with 520whp(2wd dyno for all the picky people) or Martin from AMS with 551whp(2wd dyno again for the picky people). If you read about AMS's car which is for sale you can see all of the mods on the car for the 551whp pull.

It isnt to hard to account for about 8-10% drivetrain loss into the total number. I bet there was alot more done to that sr20 than the Ams evo to pull those numbers. Also reliablity fall into account as well. You can make any motor a beast but how long will it last is the main question. Is the sr20 motor on a stock bottom end? Do you gotta link to it so I can see it?plzzz

I'm sure the SR20DET has modded the internal to have that kinda HP output. The Silvia in Japan is no where near the evo. They both have single turbo and an inline 4, but the EVO is more than a compitition for the Silvia. In every video that i saw about the evo, I never saw the silvia racing against it. Most of the time is the GTR. I'm by no mean bashing the SR20DET. I love that car to death. I think the Silvia is a very sexy beast. Veryyyyy....

No way those guys are on a stock bottome end. Not saying it isn't possible, I just don't think it would last long at that power level.

See those are correct numbers though. I want to see the actual rwhp numbers uncorrected.

I believe Boost Solutions will beat that number, also Pruven has a very powerful Evo. AMS is another one in that neighborhood
