Guys check this out! Remember Mr. Tajima, the owner of Monster-Sport that participate in WRC and Broke the world record under 10 min. in Pikes Peak Hill Climb? Well he developed a full electric car and it's still fast. Check out his qualifying run.

 

In time this electric cars should be fasters than a combustion counterpart. No loss of power as they go highe altitudes, no shifting, instant torque, no loss of brakes. Im no expert but I think his "regen" braking might be too aggressive.
