I got a question about tuning
Okay say if I was using a tuning program using the stock ecu would it be all that necessary to require a AEM wideband uego if im not the one who is tuning the car or would it be essential for me to have one just to monitor it when it gets out of wack.
Some tuners can tune without the use of a wideband, but I would highly recommend getting one. It is probably one of the top two most useful gauges. The other being the boost gauge.
The only methods I can think of using without the WB02 would involve monitoring knock but even then you would be guessing what your baseline or starting AFRs are because the ones in the map are just relative and not actual AFRs.
That sounds like playing roshambo with grenades in your hands.
