Is it safe to drive without a tune?

If I swap out the turbo and stay out of boost? Obviously, would be looking to get tuned ASAP, but curious would it be okay to drive without one?

to drive to your tuner that day, yes. Given that you leave the stock injectors in the car until you get to the shop. If you want to drive around for a few days, i waiting to install the turbo.

If just the turbo was swapped you can drive around as long as you wanted, no harm. Just stay off the boost. Even if your car created some boost, no biggie. Not like you changed a maf pipe or anything else.....? Was anything else swapped with turbo?
