I had too much to drink while installing my gauges yesterday and did something i really regret now . i found some all weather waterproof matte black spray paint so i decided to paint my heat shied..that looked good so i took it a step further and well..the pics say it all. At the time it seemed like a good idea but now my friends are saying i ruined my exhaust. This really sucks does it look that bad? And if it does how can i restore it? I do like the stock exhaust and this sucks..

 

How did you ruin your exhaust? I painted the Varex muffler on my brand new $1200 MAP cat-back exhaust flat black, didn't ruin it.....

 

you think? not performance wise or functionality but looks..my sister said it looks burnt.

I thought he was talking about the trunk too lol. The exhaust doesn't really look different, i mean you never really see more then the tip.

 

me too. then by the time I figured out it was just the exhaust you barely see in the first place i'm like:

no dude. you didn't ruin anything except your trunk.

LOLOL yeah the exhaust looks normal still even tho its no longer shiny it just looks dirty and lowkey. no biggie!
and if you dont mind me asking, how much power are you able to push thru the stocker with a Black?! never seen that combo before...

 

i was mostly concerned about quality and if itl last i hate when things looks sloppy and honda cheap

i have test pipe and downpipe..also the muffler is gutted made to look stock so as not to attract any attention mid-pipe with resonators are still there but im not worrying about it. trust me dude. it pulls lol i just live in ****ty canada where finding an all wheel dyno is like trying to find an std free hooker so i need to plan a trip down to the states for a tune.

 

Doesn't look any worse than your trunk or bumper...

 

it wouldnt even cost me that much $$ to fix them..seriously i just never gave a **** as long as the car was fast, reliable and clean inside. those things dont bother me..i rock this car the way a mitsu was meant to, with pride and driving ****ing hard

 

I dunno man. Looks like hell. An Evo should never be "modded" with a spray can. Once you bust that out its a bound to look like a **** show.

 

okay Kracka maybe your criticizem changed my view a tiny bit. Just placed an order for an oem jdm rear bumper


..and thats what im saying it looks like a 16 year old with a honda got paid to "mod" my exhaust
