Weight reduction ?

Wondering about how light it’s possible to get an Evo. And how light people have been able to get them.

I think STM had their Ricer down to 2700lbs and it still had an interior.

I think you can considerably drop some weight on suspension, battery, and some interior components. I believe like 300lbs or something. Not that difficult. Aside from that, you are getting into real scary weight savings

I cut about 200 lbs really easily. Just depends how far you want to go. I DD mine but still pulled that much for race weight and 150 or so permanently

There's a clip on youtube of someone in England who got his down under 1000kg(2200lb's) but i can't remember if it was an early(4,5,6)evo or not,it was on a link from a lancerregister thread here in England.
some of the time attack boys get them down to around 1050kg(2310lb's)but you are talking serious cost(fabricated cromoly tube subframes, etc.)
but i bought a gsr,i like aircon for the 10 sunny days we get in England every year and i don't want to drive on the road in a flying bean can
