Are "reusable" drop-in filters truely reusable?

reused by recleaning and reoiling a KN filter with no issues. i had a spare one to use while that other one was drying

Actually I bought it because it outperformed any other intake on the market. J/K What can I say, it looks good, does it's job and I'm an ARC wh*re, but "JDMness" does come with a price tag.
