i hate driving this car!!
Yes, the 1650's aren't the easiest to tune. In fact its recomended to use the fic easy tune box. There are a lot of better options out there. If you want to stay low Z the fic 1450's are easier to work with and can supply in excess of 600whp worth of fuel (E-85, mustang dyno). If you want a high Z injector you may as well go 2150, although I hear the fic 1100's are really nice to work with.
Okay here are my thoughts:
1. Check voltage to fuel pump and the pump itself.
2. Someone mentioned the injectors a few pages ago. Search for the type of injectors you have and read every thread about them. Working cars or not.
3. Ask whoever built your car for a full build sheet and mod list, then post it here.
4. At your hp levels might as well just go double pumper.
My questions:
1. How are you logging the car without a cable.?
2. Why is a 40r not good for drag?

Corbin09-i figured out my driveability problem. The evo cant run any LZ injectors over 1450's because they run on 16+v. I looked around and most sites say the 1650's that i run need a injector driver to bump up the voltage to the injectors. Most are saying the fic easytune works best and bumps it up to 18v to the injectors. But now i cant find one for sale lol. Fic discontinued it because of there new hz 2150's.
Thanks. The issue im having is im hearing some horror stories about injector drivers and the evo. But my next choice in injectors is id2000's or fic2150's and there around a grand. Plus the tune its a pretty penny
Why can't you simply buy a resistor box for your injectors? There's no reason to buy all new injectors. Low-Z injectors require a different type of current control than High-Z injectors.

Yeah I agree with Arcee, you don't have to buy that voltage thing you just have to get the resistor box . Id call FIC and talk to them and they I'm sure will hook you up with the right stuff.
