what should i do?

what should i do?

Okay so I blew the block on my evo 9 motor after i did e85 tune on it, the rods and stuff are blown out what should i do replace the whole motor or just get a new block? and if so where can i get cheap parts?

So are you saying your internals blew out of your block? If that's the case, then yes you need a whole new bottom end which would be the block as well. If your block in intact you can have a machine shop do their thing and get it cleaned up and re use it. Plenty of vendors on here that can hook you up with parts or an engine; Buschur, MAP, STM, etc etc

yeah there is like 4 big holes in the block i can see the rod hanging out. I tryed to find anyone on here thats selling the whole set but i cant find anyone thats selling a block with all the internals... Do you know anyone? Also i found a guy selling a engine for 1800.

Well i had a broken bolt where the turbo and headers meet so it made a boost leak and i was testing out the car and it was boosting at like 24psi and it all blew up, the rods came out the block you can see them hanging. You can see chunks of the block inside of it like little pieces.

How many miles on car? What mods did you have? More info helps us all not to make the same mistake or at least learn something. You can buy used 9 complete engines online or you can have a shop try to salvage whats good on your current engine.

i made around 435whp and 410wtq thats what ****ed me up tho, don't go over 400wtq on a stock block. When i was testing it out the car it had way to much tq steer. and at like 4000rpm the engine exploded
