lately after high load situations like launching or long pulls in peak boost the car doesnt like to idel after the car will hop from 500-1000 rpm for like 30 sec to a min if i give it a quick rev it will usually smooth back out any ideas as to what this could be mods are turbo back intake mbc bigger front mount

 

I had a similar issue before but it was after I overboosted. Is the car tuned, are the plugs gapped to far?

 

car has a base map in it. i dont think im over boosting the car peaks at 21-22 psi and tapers off to 18-19psi. last i checked the plugs were good they were gapped to .020 and i feel like it isnt a plug issue because it doesnt break up any other time only at idel and icant seem to find any vacume leaks

 

Does it idle rough after boost?

 

ya thats when it happens but its only if im in boost for a long period of time

 

Sounds like it could be plug related. Thats a tight gap on the plugs. Im assuming you have a factory 8 bov?

 

Had a couple of evos i worked on had problems with the egr valve solenoid. it would stick after boost. Cause a rough idle after boost. The solenoid is in the back below the intake manifold. I would check that.
