Since these pumps are known to fail to corrosion I plan to have the unit 100% inside the trunk. Why people chose to relocate them only to have the pump exposed to the elements is beyond me.

I dont see anything but the bleed nipple on the bottom of the car. I'm trying to replace the hard line aka the feed line.

If you can't find it, find the hardline that attachs to the pump, and follow the hardline back to the tranny. It runs underneath the bottom radiator core support.

It's been said not much. I'm actually just thinking of trying to uninstall the hardline and straighten it out back to the drivers side. Should be long enough to reach.

I'm thinking of relocating mine as well. I can't image the ACD line pressure would be anywhere near that or that the fluid temperature would be more than say 180f. It seems like regular SS braded hose would more than enough IDK.

any ss braided line should be fine. I had a local hydraulic shop make me some line out their ss teflon lined stuff. IIRC the temp rating awas around 600 deg for this stuff.

The hardline is routed up to the tunnel area and it turns from a hard line to a hydraulic rubber line with a banjo fitting. If you still have the head and manifold on the car it might be hard to see

Wasn't your pump exposed to the elements still?

I couldnt tell from the pics, but did you use a hard line or ss line? What path did you choose to route the line from the pump to the tc?

I mounted mine inside the trunk but have since went back and redesigned how I am gonna do it due to just not happy of the path the line is routing from the tc to the trunk.
