Quick question on battery terminal

Hi. My positive battery terminal is goosed. The stealership here loves to rip my wallet off. I have in hand a heavy duty Coleman MARINE grade terminal from ACE Hardware. The package says...'Marine grade batteries and marine battery cables 6 and 12 volt only'. Would that be OK for my evo? The word marine got me thinking...Cheers in advance

Marine just means its more anti-corrosive then normal which is a good thing. It'll work perfectly fine for your 12v battery.

Just be carefull when working with or around the battery. Dry and wet battery acid is dangerous and can be flamible. Clean everything well or wear gloves if needed.

Love to hear that. Excellent. I'll take extra precaution when dealing with the stuff, thanks. Sorry one more little thing, the terminal does not have a '+' sign stamped on it but got a word 'P' instead which I assume as 'Positive'? Also does it matter if the other negative terminal (brass) isn't a Marine type?

It does not matter, can have two negatives, two positives one marine and one not. Will make no difference other then maybe confusing you the next time you replace the battery. So long as both terminals have a good connection you will be fine.
