my car keeps killing iac's
I had a major headache with sears dropping a bolt onto my starter with fried it and burned up one of my ground wires (only went there to get tires). then a few weeks later one of my heater core hoses popped and left me stranded. I replaced it with a cheap straight piece of heater hose, because the replacement hose was around $80 (the one from the heater core to the back or the thermostat), but when I started the car my IAC died, so I borrowed one till i got a replacement.
Now my issue is the car as killed 2 new IAC's within a month and I dont know what the deal is. the hose is kinda close the IAC and I dont know if thats the problem, but I insulated it lastnight but my second iac is already dead. so is there anywhere else I should look for problems, the car has also started acting like it was misfiring and I got new spark plugs and coils and ran seafoam through the injectors and got no change
