Can I remove the solenoid from the ecu or just cap it off?

You can only remove the solenoid if you have ECUFlash so you can disable the CEL.

Well I figured out how to install it, I have ecu flash but not the aem wideband for tuning. Your suppose to leave the intake line on the solenoid to keep the ecu from tripping. But it's so much better the spool up is crazy fast and I am more comfortable tuning with a controller vs the ecu controlled boost. I would reccomend this to everyone.
I have the hallman pro boost controller.

Future note I drilled a hole in a clamp, bolted the mbc on the clamp and wrapped it around my intercooler piping for easy access it doesn't look to bad to be honest
