Thinking about ordering this but I just noticed that extremepsi has 3 differant type's..which is the best for a 2005 evo 8

1)Hallman EVOLUTION Boost Controller Kit

2)Hallman EVOLUTION RX Boost Controller Kit

3)Hallman EVOLUTION Boost Controller: Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII & IX Specific Kit

I personally use the standard Hallman MBC. The RX has a ceramic ball vs the standard steel ball, it's advertised to have better response. The evolution kit you are referring to I think is the in cab controller kit, so if you want to control the boost from in your cab this would be the one for you. I use the standard kit and I'm pleased, just pick one you want and a color, I'm sure it'll serve its purpose for you as well.

Yes all three I have posted are in-cockpit but trying to decide if I should go with the one for Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII & IX Specific Kit or the normal one..I already cancelled out the RX one...The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII & IX Specific Kit is 49" and the normal one is 59" ..which is best for the evo 8?..thx

Why bother with in-cabin control? Are you really ever going to be changing it aside from when you first get the car tuned?
