AMS mustache and bushing kit made clunk worse.

Hey guys I just installed the AMS mustache removal and solid bushing kit today in hopes that it would solve the clunk in my rear diff under hard shifts. I did all the research
I could and even had my local shop check it to make sure that this was the solution to the problem and this kit was the answer they gave me to solve it. So today I installed it and as soon as I got in the car to go for a drive it clunked as i put the car in reverse. this was while I wasnt even moving and no throttle applied. As I drove it down the street it clunked every time I shifted or made any change to the gas pedal. Before I had to make a hard, sloppy shift in order for it to make the noise. now it does it while putting it into gear in the driveway. Now this new sound is a bit different from the old one though. I'm worried that I have a further and worse problem in my differential. If anyone has experienced this or has any insight on where to go from here please let me know. it was such a dissapointmant to think i'd solved this problem just to get in and have it be worse
thanks for any help

definitely sounds like your clunk/slap was somewhere else in the chain. Now that the rear mounts aren't absorbing it, you are hearing it more and worse. There has to be some play somewhere in the system. Have you messed with the driveshaft to see if it's there?

weird, it must be something else - is it definitely coming from the rear? i had a banging/clunking noise in the past that i thought was related to the drivetrain, but it turned out that i needed to tighten down my front struts - every time i shifted (weight shift) the suspension would clunk.

Take bushing out and drive. Then you know if new bushing is causing an issue or not first.

It has to be something else. You shouldnt get anymore clunk noise with the eliminator, just alittle vibration or wine.

I would check your carrier bearing bushings and also make sure your exhaust is not able to hit making a clunk sound.
