Paint or Trade

debating on what I should do

either paint it to Apex Silver

or sell it or trade it for a different color?

Either way I will be keeping an Evo for a really long time

Car is rally Red

I can buy the stuff that does not have to be painted like doors, trunk hood, etc. Worried about the interior portion like door jambs, engine bay etc..

Opinions?

Find a good body shop and paint the car and call it a day.
(My opinion )

^This. Or have it vinyl wrapped. There are ALOT of colors to choose from as far as a cast pvc wrap vinyl goes. Check out Avery, 3m, Oracal, or hexus for color options.

Paint it if you have some cash and\or if you have already put money into mods. Trade it if its stock or really clean. Don't blame you not liking the color.

I would get it painted. You probably know a bunch of things that are individual to your specific car. The worst part of buying a car is finding something wrong with it a few months later or something.

Sell it if you want a different color. Painting it a different color than factory will lower the resale value quite a bit. No one wants a silver car with red underbody

I have basic mods, evo 9 turbo, 3" exhaust full intercooler.

But i really want to keep my stage 2 transfer case, and my 272 cams everything else is fine for me.

I just really want silver i think it just looks good to me in my opinion. But if i paint it i want the entire car painted silver no spots missed. I will probably sell it in march and pick up a new silver evo for my 24th bday

Going to be a lot more cost-effective to buy a silver one and swap the parts you want to keep. painting the whole car means disassembling the entire car

If I only had those 2 options, Id get rid of that one and get another and the color you want.

But if I didnt have just those to options, I would paint the car you currently have and not a factory color. If you like silver, Id do a different silver than the OEM silver.

I would sell it and buy the colour you want.

Its so much work to paint everything properly... Just think of the engine bay and the under body.

If you sell and buy you could potentially break even. Versus paying thousands for a paint job.

That being said... I vote keep it... red is the best colour.

Keep the car OR if you have the time and money, then buy a sliver one.
