Quieting down your car interior?

I have an exhaust system and due to the fact that my trunk is stripped besides the bottom mat (no spare or jack) it kinda amplifies the interior noise. Anything I can do to it besides obviously adding a silencer? Like adding pillows where the spare tire was etc etc?

It's an evo. I enjoy the road noise.

Put the stuff back in to quiet it down or buy a Jetta. Lol

Maybe some dynamat or something? Though unless it's an all out racecar, are you REALLY going to be able to tell whether you have an extra couple of kgs worth of carpet in the boot?

Either put the stuff back in or dynamat it. Dynamat is heavy though.

Put the music on and no more road noise

Or start installing some dynamat your car. Just removing your carpet and doors and put dynamat

Do you have the tire and jack to put back in there to see if it will even change the tone that much?

How long have you been driving with that setup before you realized it is too loud?

OP, go to www.sounddeadenershowdown.com and read every page. The suggestion in this thread are not going to help.

sound det. everything in the trunk up to underneath the back seat (up too at least), that should help significantly.
