Hi,
I have an external fuel pump and my fuel pressure is rather high and on the dyno my pressure says that I am maxing out on my fuel and I need another pumps. So I can't use high boost .

I have an Intank Walbro and also a external surge tank with Walbro. How do I make sure both are working ? I believe one is faulty as before this , I could run more HP.

I am using 2.2 Tomei engine, Motec, , precision GT37 turbo .


Any test I can do ?

sure you arent maxxing out injectors?
but if its just the pump, look into the buschur double pump or maybe even the new walbro 400lph

 

more info on the car would be nice. What size injectors? type of fuel? how much power about?

 

If you're getting good fuel pressure wouldn't That mean the pumps are working??

 

I am using FIC 1450 injectors

With 1.6 bar , I am getting 650 BHP on crank

2 bar 750 BHP , but its not stable as my tuner said that it was running too lean.

I am able to get 900bhp on full race fuel
