I got an intake off a 2g DSM with a adapter for the 2g maf, and I'm wondering if it'll bolt up to my evo.

I should try, but I don't want to yank everything off just to find out it won't fit

Yes it will fit. However, the important thing is how well the whole unit is held stable to the car, meaning where are the mounting points for the filter and adapter. The mounting points are different and you dont' want that filter shaking all over the place with the MAS. Had a Greddy Airinx for Eclipse and found some use for it, but not enough to justify keeping it on.
