no no not me, my car to date's fastest pass has been an 11.9@120mph with a 1.89 60ft. I figure there are mid to possibly low 11's in it. I was refering to OP's car shooting for a bit over 500hp.

 

Depends on what dyno you get 450... My car did 450 on buschurs dyno and went 11.30s with a 2.2 60 on bald all seasons, and full weight. def has a 10 pass in it with a good 60

 

Anyone else with an Fp red with any kills or stories that want to stay on topic?

The question is to vague man just cuz one guy with a red "killed" a vette doesn't me they all will just depends on whats done amd driver skill in anycase i walked a boss mustang doesnt mean every boss mustang will get destroyed just ment that ine sucked

as far as fun I have 430 on my ef3 at 23lbs with a 27lbs spike ( my boost controller is gay at times do goin with a 3 port) and its deff fun but like anything you get used to it and want more and chirping tires another vague question depends on the tire size type everything my buddy thinks he's a bada** cuz he can roast his two front tires in his supercharged cobalt at 60 but hes only running 205 stock tires in the rain I spun all 4 in 2ed getting on the freeway and I run 255 so to many factors play in your questions but in short you'll have fun going from un modded (I'm guessing cuz your sig is full of parts your putting on not what's on it ) to this sonbe carefull don't be an idiot and have fun friend

 

Wow, no matter what a guy says on this forum the critics always surface. Dude i know what one car beats with a certain turbo doesnt mean all cars will beat with the same turbo. Come on man the question was pritty obvious. Just come and state the fun you have had or what u have done that u would like to share. Simple as that. Im sure others will now chime in and ride your criticizm boat as well about the topic. Im not asking what cars ill beat when install the turbo or how much fun ill have with it... at all... but the haters seem to ride heavy on this evo forum as i see it happen all the time to simple questions or statements.

we are comparing the power level you will be averaging out. It's much easier to compare and more general to relate to the power level of the car. As for "fun facts" here's one: The FP Red can be used as a paperweight if needed.

 

You seem to misunderstand what I was telling you. One mans exaperiance might not be your own as far as fun like I said what's not fun about any turbo or any power adder especially goin from like I said your un or very lightly modded power to 450+ yea it's fun heck my Evo was fun at 319 it's gets better and better but like anything you'll get used to it and want more I was not critiquing you at all really just givin you a heads up so your not disappointed in case one guy says omg it's so amazing well maybe it won't be enough for you besides if I was trying to be a jerk I would just emphasize on how played out these threads are but I'm not I'm giving you my exaperiance as I have before i know exactly how you feel with excitement I was deployed while parts for my car were building up and didn't finish (still not ) till this month and I started this journey in may but like you I asked and got a lot of the same responses good luck with your build buddy again sorry if I came off as a d***

Ps your gonna have fun with the red I think it's a great choice in turbos for what your looking for

 

Ya thank u but again im not asking if im gonna have fun with it. Or if its gonna feel like really good power. U are misunderstanding me and thats it. I just wanted to start a thread on what people think about their fp red and any kills they want to talk about it with it. Pritty simple. NO where do i ask about how its gonna feel for me or if im gonna like it. Just want to hear other peoples "reviews" or things they like about the red. Again thanx for ur input but this isnt a thread about me but about the turbo and peoples experiences with it. So please stop and go somewhere else.

 

Screw it, like ive seen happen to many other guys on here this thread got jumped by a bunch of critics and wise guys. No wonder so many guyz use this site for buyin and selling and thats it. Ive heard ALOT of guys leave this site for this reason. What is a simple post gets picked apart by guys that have nothing better to do than point out what they think is a mistake rather than actually acknowledge the topic. Close this thread please. How can you be so upset? You literally started this thread less than 48 hours ago. And you responded to the "critiques" giving them something to respond to, in return making yourself more upset. Give it time for other people to respond, I did.

Also you make the title misleading. You named it "fun facts" implying that your searching for facts. If you wanted stories, why not call it "Your FP Red Stories"?

 

I heard the Spaceshuttle Endeavour used an FP Red

 

The title is misleading. I was hoping to hear fun facts about the FP turbos, like, did you know Chuck Norris uses the compressor blade off an Fp red to shave his beard. haha.
