Ya i know you got an ef3 but they are very close to a red as im sure u are well aware of. Not to squat on ef3s but i researched alot on the comparisons. And i went with the red cuz fp has been making turbos for a long time and are proven plus their warranty is one of the best. Also wanted
Ball bearing and im not positive but i believe the ef3s are JBs. I had the extra loot so i figured why not. Again im not knocking map at all. But i also have heard a few bad stories on new turbos failing rite off the bat. Tho that is just what ive heard. It could be guys just spreading faalse rumors cuz they had one bad experience.
But besides that nice work on the sh*tstang. Ill bet he is sittin in his moms basement on her computer looking up some new mod that everyone and their brothr has. Like a new "off road use only racing" cold air intake that has shown gains of 25-45 hp. LOL!!!

Now as for the red I'm not hating at all. It's a great turbo. Search this site and you'll find countless threads here with dyno graphs, 1/4 mile times, and track times. You Tube will have a bunch of vids as well.

As for moms basement comment you can't be serious. Maybe you should concentrate on paying off the note on your now 10yr old car SON.

Need? There are plenty of single pumps that will feed this turbo IMO. Dw301, areomotoive 340, walbro 400.... A single pump with 1300-1400cc injectors and your golden for 500awhp! I suppose if you have a fully built motor and want to MAX this turbo then a double pumper might be a good idea, but I wouldn't pick a red for a built motor personally

 

Agreed. Im running 1450s with a single wally 255 now but im gonna put in 400 just to be safe. And ill go double pumper when i build my engine. Ive always been told built block with black fp then you go double pumper.
