Tagged a curb :(

So we had a pretty bad blizzard today and I managed to hit a curb with the front left tire. I didn't see the curb until it was too late due to 6"+ of snow. Luckily I noticed the curb in time to turn the wheel toward the curb so the tire hit it straight on. I hit it at maybe 15-20mph. I got out and did what visual checks I could, turned the wheel and everything seemed fine. I got on the road and drove roughly 10 miles and didn't have a problem. I parked for about 2 hours, then on the drive home it felt like the tire was out of balance so I thought it might have threw a weight. I pulled over to check if maybe there was a chunk of snow or ice throwing off the balance but there wasn't from what I could see/feel. It still bounced for about 5 miles then just kind of faded away for the last 10 miles. I'm curious if anyone has any clue what may have caused the vibrating, and why it may have gone away? Any clues what I could check? I'm going to drive it tomorrow and see if it starts vibrating again and I'm also going to take it into a local tire shop and have them check the tire/rim but can't do that until Wednesday due to the holidays obviously.

Thanks,
Anthony

40psi in the snow?! Lower it to around 32ish you'll have some more traction too.

Haven't had any traction issues. The biggest reason I keep it at 40 is the roads here in Utah are absolute trash. Pot holes everywhere. I will probably put it at 35 tomorrow.

higher tire pressures have better traction on snow/ice

Higher tire pressure is better for snow
U will most likely need a rebalance
The wheel is most likely bent or at the very least out of alignment

higher PSI could also cause a bubble in a sidewall if you hit a pothole
