Ive had my evo 8 for 9 months now and the ses light comes on and of for three or four days and the light turns off i want to pull the codes but i went to buy a scanner and a good one is like 200 to 300 and i came upon evoscan and with the cable and software i can do even more than just the scanner but i want to get the correct one i found this one but i was reading about pin 9 for the just the subarus and this one is universal were do i get the one with out the pin 9, pin point to the right one sorry for my ignorance

Evoscan and tactrix cable. Read and clear codes and logging capabilities. Tom at tscomptuned.net has a good deal on bundles or tunertools.com. Both should have options for pin removal if necessary

No its the same thing you were linking in the first post. Tactrix 1.3U or 1.3M (pin removed). This is where I got it...

Most people run the 1.3U just fine, but for a handful it causes an electrical meltdown lol. I just went with the 1.3M to be safe. The #9 pin has no use in our cars
