I have an s2000 but I love driving the evo I was thinking of having something that put down 600 on e85 but was tuned down to maybe like 450 on pump for daily driving. I don't launch the car and I would only do maybe 2-3 pulls on the weekends. I'm just trying to find out what parts I need I don't want to have everything put together and find out I missed something

If you are daily driving the car definitely do not get a 7.25" clutch. They don't last very long daily driven. They also make terrible noises on decel. A good set of rods and pistons is a must. A bigger Turbo will keep it nice and fuel efficient die to not boosting constantly when cruising. Running e85 helps keep it running like new as well. Don't beat on the built Motor until it is warmed up and that will help with piston wear. I would also do a relatively mild set of cams because big lope cams are annoying to drive daily especially on a 2.0. With a big Turbo and e85 you can just turn up the boost some more to make the power when you need it. Run good oil and replace all rubber belts and hoses when the Motor is out and that will keep little annoying issues to a minimum. Put those little clamps on all vacuum hoses to help keep them in place under high boost. Not all Factory hoses use them. I would have a tcase upgraded to a gelucal LSD with big bolts and shimmed properly by Shep to help with reliability. Have the transmission at least refreshed to stock. Use good fluids all around. Use an oem EVO9 timing belt since it is Kevlar. I would recommend an FP DBB stock replacement Turbo like a red or black because the DBB is much more reliable. Get a good bov such as TiAL Q and plus a speed density tune rock out!

As a fellow s2k owner I would tell you a 600whp s2k would be a lot more fun
