hoping someone can figure this out without a picture. i will be able to take one and post it in the morning. just finishing up dropping an engine back in and its been a while since it everything was taken apart. need someone familiar with the engine wiring harness. the connector runs on the same wire loom that runs to the starter. its not the one that plugs into the transmission. kinda looks like it can reach either the front or back of the engine with the amount of slack it has. its one of the square plugs similar to the ones for the injectors. anybody have an idea what it can go to? thanks

i have one downloaded from a while ago. any idea where i can find a wiring diagram? the one i have is in a bunch of different pdf's. different groups. any idea which "group" its in? i looked in the index but maybe im looking for the wrong title. i was looking for something like ecu or computer or schematics but cant seem to find exactly where i need to be. thanks

 

i was going to wait for the sun to come up so i can get a good pic. i will go out there now and see if i can get some decent pics. be back in a few

thanks guys. dont think its the tps or map but i will double check. you can see in the second pic the tps is already plugged in. if anyone else can take a look at theirs that would be greatly appreciated. again this is on the same branch as the starter. if you were to work your way back starting with the starter it splits to the vss and then to wherever this goes. thanks

 

you still have your EGR?

 

im really not too familiar with what was done to the car. i think its there. looking at the manual it looks like its near the firewall on that bracket for the intake. i have that plugged in. i dont think this would reach back there anyways. its really more towards the front of the car.

 

i just went out to take another look at it. i am wrong about it being on the same loom as the starter. it branches off from the vss in the transmission and also another connector near the thermostat housing.

 

so looks like maybe the egr was deleted which would make sense why i cant find where this goes. can anyone confirm that the small black sensor under the throttle body is the iac? the egr valve should be right in that area also correct?
