Yes the the black circle under the TB is your IAC.

Looks like the vehicle speed sensor on the back of the transmission near the rear trans motor mount.

 

vss is plugged in. this is actually branching off from the vss. egr is still there so the search continues. can some go look at their vss and follow where this goes. thanks

 

Turn the key on. You should get a check engine light for whatever is unplugged. Plug your scan tool in and see what the code is. This is what we did on my buddy's subaru. We put an engine in and couldn't find where a connector goes. Started it up and got a check engine light for coolant temp sensor high volts. That gave it away.

looks like i was wrong. what i thought was the vss is the back up lamp switch. the one in question is for the vss. thanks for all the suggestions
