AEM short ram intake hole
AEM short ram intake hole
Got bored and decided to clean my intake pipe and found a hole on the bottom. It looks manufactured, however, I have never seen holes in intake pipes before. Wondering if I should plug it up or leave it uncovered. In input would be appreciated. Tried searching and came up with nothing.
no need to worry about that, most intake hardpipes like that of the AEM or injen for example have that lil nipple or hole that wont affect the car in any way, i keep mine plugged up but my tuner said it doesn't affect anything but told me to plug it up to be safe.
Ok, I will probably go ahead and plug it as well. Doesnt seem beneficial in anyway. Unaccounted for air would be able to enter the system from this area, so it would be the best idea to plug it. Thanks for the input

ok so, went out there to look around and found this. Dont know what was going on with the previous owner. The plug at the end doesnt fit in the hole well so I would have to get another adapter. Should I plug it up still or reattach it? car is running at a pretty solid 17psi, and creeps up to 20 in the cold.
