are there any lifters that are quieter? like aftermarket or upgraded?

 

My friend's IX had a ticking sound that we all though was the lifters but that ticking turned into a knocking and... well you know the rest.

But my own used to tick after I changed to a lighter oil. Didn't really noticed when it stopped ticking until I remembered I had that problem. Yeah I know, I'm not all quite here.

Anyways. Now that you know what the term is called for this, you can search up all the different ways people have used to cure it.
