Hi, i was curious if the 2003 Lancer OZ Rally's 2.0 SOHC was interchangeable with the 2003 Evo 8's 2.0 DOHC Turbo engine. Im mainly curious about the heads, intake manifold, and the exhaust manifold. If anyone know, your information would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Dusty.

 

It will not work. The bolts won't line up.

 

What is the big difference between those two blocks anyways, there both 2.0s, which i know that always dont mean anything. Are they that different?

 

As I am aware, they are completely different engines of completely different design.

well will the two engines swap out with ease or is that one of those stories too.

 

it's a mitsubishi, not a honda, nothing but interior pieces swap with ease.

 

Thank god Mitsu made the car this way. We don't have to worry too much about thieves targeting our cars for parts harvesting and reselling like the Honda guys do.
