Question Best way to remove something that melted to my Titanium exhaust?

So I recently started noticing a burning smell when I would get out of my car after driving for a while. Last night I looked under the car to see a big patch of black stuff melted onto my Greddy Titanium exhaust. I'm not sure what it is- probably plastic. It's definitely not the undercoating or anything that could have dripped off the car. It's pretty hard but still somewhat pliable (but it's also fairly cold here and the exhaust was cold when I looked at it). And it looks like it's been slowly melting off as there's a drip at the lowest point.

Anyway, what do you guys think my best option for removal is? Burn it off with a torch? Or is there a chemical I could try to dissolve it with? I suppose I would rather use a chemical. Maybe acetone?

I would probably get your exhaust heated up normally as it's obviously hot enough to get it soft. Then get under there with a PLASTIC paint scraper to take what you can off. Then it would depend on the finish...

If it's polished, then straight acetone and microfiber. If it isn't, I'd maybe try a green scrubber pad?

Heat from a torch will cause discoloration based on temperature. Be advised.

that's going to be a huge pita. make sure the pipe is hot trying to get that stuff off. Worse comes to worse, I bet aircraft stripper will take it off but it will fudge up the surface of that nice titanium so I wouldnt really mess with that unless your desperate and in a hurry.

How about something really cold? Some materials get really brittle and don't stick as well in cold. Maybe try dry ice and see if you can scrape it off in flakes?
