Sorry about that man, that hurts me just looking at it.

I do the mandatory 2 second, left right sweep on a green light. It's pissed off a few people, but I've saved myself twice already and I'll do every time.

After living in a city where running red lights is the norm, because otherwise you'll never make it through the intersection, I officially do this when driving, and never jaywalk. Even when it looks clear, I am never surprised when some clown comes barreling through the intersection, including public transit.
