Carbon fiber center console

The upper dash piece that normally holds the radio, or the gruppe-s gauge setup if you got one of those, I want it gone. no radio. I want to replace it with a smooth piece of carbon fiber (maybe with just a little bit of curve to it), as well as the lower cubby. both just smooth, simple pieces of carbon fiber.
In this venture, I would like any input such as, if you have made something out of carbon fiber yourself, or if you have seen anything like this before. ready, speak!

Oh yeah, I know there are cf Gruppe-s pods. My bad for the confusion.
I think I'm going to have to make what I want. I actually want to delete the radio and have just have a smooth piece of fiber. no gauges, no radio, no switches, just a panel piece that goes up to the front vents.
I saw a thread recently about jdm hvac relocation, which I think if I remember is complicated, but It would be neat do that as well. I want to simplify the interior.
A lot of people have control modules of different kinds and/or gauges everywhere, and they hardly look integrated well. I want to go the other way.

sketched this up to describe what i mean... I don't think it gives it justice, and looks oversized and bulky compared to how I think i would really look but thats the idea.

Anyone have any experience making carbon fiber stuff? I've done some work with fiberglassing before.. never cf tho.

Hey man I have done work with fiberglass and CF, they aren't too different. If your just looking for the clean CF look it wouldn't be too hard to glass over the radio hole and climate parts on your stock piece then CF wrap that, thats what I did with mine but w/o shaving it

Came out pretty good, this was literally the FIRST piece I ever did w/ CF. Having done a decent bit of fiberglass made me want to try CF.

Awesome. I was thinking about using the stock piece to model a mold for a full cf piece. how easy is it to make a clean looking cf piece? like compared to a professional piece?

That piece was just wrapped in CF cloth, obviously doing a mold would save your stock piece but would be a bit harder. It's not too hard at all to wrap a part, just have to take your time
