Forgot to mention it has a 9 turbo

 

Had all the seats, panels, speakers etc swapped into it from an SSL. However, did not like the leather seats, so swapped to some bride low max.

 

I didn't like the all leather fronts either(too slippery)..sold them and bought some 9 leather/suede fronts

 

Nice! What size wheels are you running on the 8 for the track? I'm planning on building another garage later this year...as soon as I do I am going to start Project Dedicated Race Car! I've wanted to DD a 9, Drag an 8 and Road Track a X

 

Ive had 4 EVOs and currently have 2. My first one was a brand new TB EVO IX SSL off the showroom floor in 2006. I had it for awhile then sold it. Then bought a 03 LY EVO 8 in 2008. Stock block/Head on a 35R with supporting mods, definetly was a sleeper. Sold that then bought my black car that I currently have now that ive built for the last 4-5 years. Best pass 8.98@167. A lot changes being made for 2013. Then recently this past summer, picked up a WW IX RS. Ive always wanted a white EVO.

I went from a 1993 talon tsi -----> 2004 evo 8 -------> 2008 Evo X -------> 2006 Evo 9

 

That's awesome! What clutch are you running? Are you running upgraded axles?

 

I am running the Quarter Master Twin 8 leg and running the DSS Stage 5 Axles.

 

I just helped a buddy install the same clutch and his fresh TRE stage 3 w/HKS final...getting ready for IFO this weekend

 

That was a killer line up. One's the drag car, and one's to get the groceries?
I love love the LY one too. I'm thinking yellow will be my next one. Great cars man.

Well I'm just stating the fact, because I have seen more than a few guys now say that they have an 03 SSL when that car simply never existed. That's no different than me putting Bilsteins, MR BBS, and a 6 speed in an 03-04 and calling it an MR. It just isn't so.
