pop a tire at 160mph... and u are TOAST...
Blow a FART at 160 and your toast..

Imagine going this fast on a BIKE..

I remember when I blew a tire on my BMW K1 Motorcycle doing 85-90 MPH on the freeway...

Scariest 15 seconds of my life..

I got my Mustang up to 120 before, scariest, feeling, ever. The car was a hiccup away from losing control. I imagine the Evo is about 100x more stable.

After I broke mine in I took it for a series of blasts and it would get to 140 fairly quickly and then it was creeping...I could see 150 eventually...It's funny because in the same stretch of road I can top my zx12 out at 186

anyone know the gear ratios of the evo8?? i have a calculator, i can calculate the top speed...

but yeah, my old accord would roll about 155.. that was according to my speed cut remover, my speedo stoped at 140. it was really smooth and stable, i should hope an evo would hold up better at speed than a accord

Yes it is one.. It is that dam 309 code i think that says that there is a 4th cylinder misfire, it only comes on once in a while after accelerating and then pops on during about a 30% decelerate with the gas still on.. sucks.. mitus does not know what is causing it. another thread talks about it being something with the transmission i think!

holy ****, how the hell u "roll" 155mph in ur Accord? what did u use to remove the speed cut? and since the speedo tops out at 140mph, howd u know that u got it up to 155? Fastest I went in my 02 Accord was 125mph, and I only did it twice, once while racing two Protege Mp3s wangan style and the other time just to test it on a long empty stretch of highway

anyway, the fastest I hear any1 topping out their accords was around 140-145mph, this is according to soo many damn Top Speed posts on superhonda, h-a.net. If ur old accord had a H22 or a boosted F22, then MAYBE its credible, but with just straight boltons(I/E/H), I call BS.

A week and a half ago was the first time I topped out my Mazda (MX-3 GS...with the V6)...speedometer goes to 150; what a joke. Pretty solidly stable at 120, tops out at 130 and is beyond stability...felt like I was hydroplaning "aeroplaning" slightly...definitely not stable. Got my adrenaline jacked for sure.

Still waiting on buying an Evo. Found a used one: Less than TWO thousand miles on it for $25,000!!! Would have been hard pressed not to pick that one up if it hadn't been red. Looking for black.

If you can't get over 140, you are leaking boost. There is no limiter, just RPM limited. You should be able to pull all the way to the red in 5th.
